How to make french toast ?

Ingredients (serves ~4, 2 slices each):

  • 8 slices bread (slightly stale is better)

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 cup (240 ml) milk

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • ½ tsp cinnamon (optional)

  • Butter or oil for frying

Method:

  1. Whisk eggs + milk + vanilla + cinnamon.

  2. Dip each bread slice in mixture, ensuring both sides are coated (but not soggy).

  3. Heat pan with butter/oil.

  4. Cook slices until golden brown each side.

  5. Serve with fruit, syrup, or honey.
