Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 6 servings
1 1/2 tablespoons rice vinegar

1/2 cup soya sauce

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon grated ginger

2 teaspoons garlic mince
3 tablespoons honey          

1 teaspoons sesame oil

1 can pineapple chunks in juice

2 pounds , boneless chicken thighs, cut into small pieces

2 tablespoons cornstarch

1/4 cup water

2 packs pre-cooked rice

Directions  

  • STEP1:   First of all take a bowl mix the soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil in a slow cooker and whisk well to combine. Then mix pineapple with juice . Pour this muixture over the chicken to coat it Cover and cook on High for 2 to 3 hours.
  • STEP2: Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and shred with two forks.
  • STEP3:Now Pour the teriyaki sauce that take from the slow cooker pass by a strainer into a saucepan.
  • STEP4:Place the saucepan on the stove over medium high flame and bring a boil.
  • STEP5:Take a small bowl, mix well cornstarch with the water until dissolved.
  • STEP6 :Pour the cornstarch muixture into the pan and bring a boil to thickened the mixture. Cook it for 1-2 minutes or until sauce has just thickened.
